Hey everyone,

I'm looking to gauge interest if I decide to part out a couple rifles that didn't turn into what I was hoping. They're NIB, unfired.

I have a Savage 11 .308. What are these parts worth?

short action w/ accutrigger
11 plastic stock with and without DBM setup
take off barrel
Nikon Prostaff 3-9 BDC reticle with rings and base that came on rifle

I also have a 300 win mag. Same as above, what are components worth?

long action w/ accutrigger
111 plastic stock with and without DBM setup
take off barrel
Nikon Prostaff 3-9 BDC reticle with rings and base that came on rifle

I was thinking:
$350 for actions
$100 for barrels
$100 for stock w/ DBM & mag
$150 for scope, rings, base

Does that seem about in line?

I think the 11 is chrome moly? If that is the case, the barrels should be in the $65 range. Chrome Moly actions that are newer centerfeed, without the mag setups are in the $310-325 range. The stock dbm combo is about right. Just my 2 cents,

I don't have them in front of me to confirm bolt release and that. They ate all last years model, so hopefully that answers your question.

They are factory sporter contours in CM.

Should you decide to sell off the CM 308 barrels at a reasonable rate, PM me. I'm in the market.

My local FFL sells the Model 11 Trophy Hunters with the Nikon Scopes for 475.00 plus Tax. I've seen them else where for $499.00.

Jim sells the model 11 centerfeed accutrigger actions with .473" bolt face, recoil lug, barrel nut, and action screws for 335.00, he is a dealer, as an individual, your looking to get 325.00 shipped for all listed above. Same price for the 111 centerfeeds.

The 22" 308 sporter, you will have plenty of offers from 50-65, I've sold a pile of the for 60.
The 24" 300wm sporter 60-70, 70 if your lucky.

The stocks are worth about 30 bucks a piece, and the brandnew bottom metal with mag is only 64 from SSS, so 90 for the stock with complete dbm setup.

I have sold 3 of the scopes you mention for 75, some places still carry them NIB with warranty card and all for 89. The rings and bases are all but useless.

That would be 550 for an action, stock setup, barrel, and scope, and as mention above, our local sportsmans warehouse carries the 11/111 trophy hunter which has all of those components for 479.99, so if you got that out of the parts you'd be doing good.

Thanks for the feedback.

Follow up on the scope rings and base. I was getting ready to order a 116 30/06 to keep and use. Are the rings and base bad enough I should look into swapping them out even if I keep the Prostaff on it? Or are they adequate to use and hold zero, but they're just worth replacing if I replace the scope? I know I need to tighten everything up before taking it out.

The bases are Weaver bulk bought buy savage for less than .50cts a piece, they aren't but 3 a piece from the local boys or walmart, but they will hold up. They rings are Weaver as well, factory seconds, they can be had for 8.95 a pair from walmart, I do not reccomend them with any caliber 308 and larger, but they make good paper weights. I would get a Weaver 1 piece picatinny rail for about 26 bucks and a 30 dollar pair of Warne maxima rings if I was going cheap but didn't want to have to wonder if it was going to hold up or not, another option for less than 60 bucks is a DNZ gamereaper or deadnutz 1 piece base and rings. Either one of those won't shift or loosen under 30-06 recoil if tightened correctly. Or the cheapest way would be to use Warne Maxima rings with the 2 piece weaver bases that come on it, but the rail gives you a lot more room to get the scope properly positioned for eye relief and so on.
