Model 70 Classic Stainless 7mm shooting times westerner. Controlled round feed, hinged 2 piece floor plate. Round count is low, but unsure of exact number, first owner said he didn't shoot it much, bore is very nice from what I can tell, I'm not a smith though. Light handling marks, but looks better than most guns on display at the local gun stores. I have not worked up a load for this as I only fired ten rounds. I have lots of pictures If you want to see more, let me know. 1000 shipped. Dnz one piece matte base/rings available as well.

Re: Model 70 Classic Stainless 7mm shooting times westerner

Is this a factory STW or punched out 7mag? Your zip code?

Re: Model 70 Classic Stainless 7mm shooting times westerner

it's a factory stw. I was told they are a little longer than a regular magnum which is why people turn them into dangerous game guns. And it is a factory barrel at 26".

Re: Model 70 Classic Stainless 7mm shooting times westerner

it only fired ten rounds while I owned it. first four were function test, and remaining six were sighting in the scope. With that being said, I just picked a bottom third load from my book to start forming brass. I personally only shot three rounds on paper if memory serves correct. first was on paper, I dialed the correction and the second two were almost touching at 100yds. I really like the caliber but have decided to change direction. I'd be glad to send the spent cases with it to set up reloading dies...

This is just a "Classic Stainless" and not a "Classic Sharpshooter", isn't it?
