Im sitting here staring at a pile of parts which use to be my old rossi single shot combo. I dissassembled it a few years back due to a broken spring but somehow my ex wife "accidentaly" knocked the container of parts off my bench and some pieces were never found. When i contacted rossi about the broken and missing parts the pretty much told me i have a scrap rifle because they didnt have the replacement parts for the gun anymore since the design of the receiver was changed for a side mount safety. So now i have a receiver, cracked trigger guard, trigger, hammer, release tab to open the gun, stock, forend,a 22 barrel and 12 guage barrel. Im missing the springs, couple pins and the little bar that raises in front of the hammer and nothing for a firing pin. Is there anything i can do to resurect this old rifle into something useable or do i just have worthless parts

Search the used parts suppliers.

Even if you do find the parts it wont be very accurate if that is what you want.

I like all single shot rifles but they are normally very accurate. (But they are fun)

By all means, put it back together. right now all you have is a pile of parts and it is not worth
very much.

Parts will be hard to find for the Rossi but it will be a nice little rifle to have if you can get it working.

Good luck.

lightbulb... or buy a 'parts' gun from one of the websites.
Better yet, Go and post on a forum at Graybeard or Specialty Pistols.com... Once you post your need out there alot of the guys will do what they can to assist in your search . Good Luck
I hope you get 'er back together..
