I bought these a year or so ago and only used them on a couple of hunting trips, so they almost look like new. I'm as anal as they get when it comes to taking care of my gear, so buy with confidence. You really can't beat these for hunting! Like anything that old Carl makes, the glass is fantastic, and the range finder works really well too. I've ranged stuff out to 1,600 yards with them. They are the 10X45 version, and they come with all of the swag that I got when I bought them new. I apparently never filled out the warranty card, so I guess you can still do that. My gun room has gotten completely out of control, so I'm trying to thin it out a little. I'm not terribly interested in trading for much, but I might consider a Wilson Combat pistol, a high end AR-10, or as always, a fat tittied blonde. These sell for around $2,800 new, and the demo units go for $2,400. I'd say these are basically demo units and I'll ship them to you insured for $2,250 in the CONUS. FTF in Dallas with a fistful of mallards would be great, but I'll also take Paypal gift or a USPS money order.

Received your PM along with something totally unrelated from Andy Backus, which had nothing to do with me! Thanks for your offer, but we are too far apart. Hope you gitter done.

Something may be getting buggy, because your PM did not come through in the usual fashion.

Not sure what the buggy stuff is all about, but I understand the price spread. Hey, some guys like buying stuff new just so they can say they bought new. I'd rather have the steak! I'll be in Tyler on Saturday if you want me to bring them along for you to check out. If they haven't sold by then, I'd be glad to throw them err... place them gently in the truck. Let me know.

Not too confident about the PM at the moment. My e-mail address is [email protected]. In what may be a common theme for you also, I am binocular and rangefinder poor, but if you want to drop me a note I'll let you know what I will do.
