I'm not looking for the 75, the twist rate is a little too slow for me. Besides, I could get a brand new 85 for $50 more than what he is asking.

The Sako 75 260 in the ad belongs to me.

I 'd say it may be unfired....... or if it has been fired, I can't tell it.

That is also an asking price. I have it on GB as well. The gun is "as new in box" with everything that came in that box new.

If you are looking to stabilize the heavier extreme of bullets in the 260, you may well want the 1:8 twist of the 85. The twist on the 75 is 1:9.

I have never owned a Sako 85, but alot of folks that have seem to like the 75 better.

I have a 75 in 300 WSM Hunter (Mcmillan Sako Hunter McSwirly) and a 85 in 338 Federal (SS Synthetic). There isn't enough different in the operation side to pick a favorite. If you want to restock a 85 with a McMillan though it needs to be sent to them due to the different recoil lug system.

Check Euro Optic's used inventory time to time.
