.338 ultra mag. model 700 xcr, 26" barrel. muzzle break, trigger work. bases and rings are included. scope not included. round count by my estimation is around 400.

finish on the barrel is not new. this rifle has been used, not much, but i think the previous owner just didn't take care of it at all.

i will ship, for extra.

$800

Re: .338 ultra mag, m700 sps

That looks like an XCR with the jeweled bolt and two tone stock. The XCR is more in the range of your asking price. You can pick up an SPS stainless for as little as 500 bucks brand new. Don't know if they even made the SPS in 338rum. This might help you sell this.

It may be a stainless BDL put in a xcr stock. It wouldn't make any sense to bead blast the XCR finish.

it may have been bead blasted to match the brake. idk, it is what it is.

If the XCR finish was bead blasted, the value is that of an SPS. The finish on an XCR is what makes the rifle EXTREMELY corrosion resistant, more so than anything but titanium. Bead-blasting it would dull the reflections but it would also destroy the corrosion protection. (The correct way to dull the reflections is with paint/gun-coat.)

I could be interested as I'm looking for a .338 cary-rifle, but my offer would depend on what the finish is.

Please email close-ups of the finish, especially the areas that have flaws: [email protected].

Thanks!
