.221 fireball savage barrel

Hello...I have had a aftermarket Savage barrel for some time. What is the best way to aquire a Savage short action? Will the Axis rifle action fit into a non-accutrigger Savage stock??? I have the barrel and the non-acutrigger stock already, all I need is the short action and a new nut.

you should look up savageshooters.com anything and everything you want to know about savages. good luck and some pictures of the finished product would be nice. good luck

ps- there are vendors there that sell actions, recoil lugs and everything else for savages also.
