I am considering getting rid of my .300 RUM. It started life as a .338WM in the late 80'.s, blued. I recently had it fitted with a new/take off Stainless Sendero barrel in .300 RUM, a muzzle brake added and the whole thing teflon coated. It then was bedded into a black HS precision stock. Recol is at or less than a .243. I figure its worth maybe $1,000 or a used NXS? If anyone is interested I'll get some picks tonight. If I am crazy off on the price either way plese feel free to let me know, even posting it here won't offend me. Scope and bipod remain with me, but they can be had.

Did you get this gun sold? How long is/was the barrel? I would appreciate hearing back from you as to whether you have a "deal in the mill" or not. How was your accuracy following the rebarrel?

Drop me a line if your deal doesn't come together. I'm going to start buying parts to build roughly the same rifle around the first of the year. Obviously, it is easier to buy a finished rifle then round everything up to build one. I'm time poor and very much in favor of the easy route!
