im more and more convinced that bots are being used
Maybe. They were there for a while. I got a few. But I also don't fully understand how bots work, so I can't say one way or another.
basically you setup a program that scours the interwebs for all or a specific primer, lets say every 60s. when that shows online, it is immediately bought, quicker than any person could do it even if they knew at the exact same time that item was in stock. you can set price you want to pay, quantity, etc.
Im an IT nerd so this was a huge deal 3ish yrs ago when the nvidia 30 series gpu cards came out. people were buying all the cards instantly with bots and reselling at ridiculous prices. and people were paying because no regular consumer could find a card.
