wind meter

If you don't want to use humidity you can get by with the 2500 but this has come up several times and it seems that the majority always go for the 3500. There's not a lot of difference in price between the two, depending on where you buy it. It's just a personal choice.

I have a Brunton Summit. I've held it next to a Kestral 3500 and they proformed equally. I like the Kestral's snap-on cover and the bigger prop. It also seemed to be a little more heavy-duty. I really like the Brunton especially for the $65 price tag but the Kestral is the better of the two.

I just recently bought a kestrel 3500 NV I have the recept here with me in hand shipping and all was $169.00 that's the best price that I could find here is the link www.ambientweather.com

Ps The kestrel 3500 is very user friendly, trust me if I can use it anyone can:)

Back when I got my 3500, I also bought it from AmbientWeather.com as it was the best price I could find then as well.:)
