Fastest bow

IBO speeds are like opinions, which are like well you know :D

I have had almost every bow Bowtech makes, my buddy shoots an x force, another shoots mathews.

Dont rule out the Elite's, they will make a fool out of alot of people. I bought an E500 used last year, 29" draw, 70 lb 485 grain arrows 331 fps, that was with the smooth mods, then you have the speed mods and if your really serious they have the E500 mods. They are just like shooting Bowtechs so its easy to swap back and forth.

i agree a 7 inch brace height far more forgiving to shoot then the 5.5 inch. speed is nice to have but i think that you should be shooting about 3 times a week to stay fairly consistant with that short of a brace height.

I'm sorry trlcavscout but either your arrow is not 485gr or your speed is not 331fps or maybe both numbers are wrong. I am only saying this because I don't want other members to get the wrong info.

I am not bashing your bow, the fact is, no bow at those specs will do that.

arrow is not 485gr or your speed is not 331fps
That not IBO is because IBO speed is figured using an arrow that weighs 5 grains for every 1 pound of bow weight. Example: A bow set at 70 pounds of draw weight with an arrow that weighs 350 grains (70x5).
so you would have to be pulling a 97 LBS for it to be IBO
