I have a brand new, never mounted Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 NP-R1 with Zero Stop for sale. I opened the box to take some photo's.

Price will be US$1650 which includes International Express Shipping

I can take paypal or a money order but will require a 10% deposit via paypal just so I don't get screwed around.

I just received a question as to why I bought it and never used it. The reason is I was talked into buying a metric 5.5-22x50 for my 308 a couple of weeks back and now after using it, it's much easier for me as I was bought up on the metric system. This one arrived yesterday (it was going on my 338 edge, just sold the Leupold MK4 8.5-25x50 that was on it) as I had it on order and now that it's here it's too late to change it. So now I want a metric version of it so I'm selling this one. I'll take a bit of a hit but it'll be much less confusing having both scopes in metric format.

Actually if you looked properly they are $1,810.00 on midwayusa.com . This is the 5.5-22x56 NP-R1 with ZERO STOP

But since you own it instead of Midway it is a used product. So if something new costs 1,800.00 i would not consider giving over 1,200.00 since it is used. Not picking at you but i have never seen a place like this forum that everyone tries to get next to new prices out of a used item. Midway, other dealers can say NIB any one else it is a used item.

I don't think you will be buying many used Nightforce NXS's then. That is the nice thing about them, they hold their value. Getting a nice used NXS even without zero stop for $1200 is next to impossible on any site. I think this may be due to the quality of the product and the outstanding warranty they carry.

Not trying to be disrespectful, thats just the way they sell. I think this scope was priced very fair.

Just my 2 cents.

What am I missing? The scope was purchased. There's no fairer way to assess monetary value than a real-time purchase price. It was evidently worth that much to somebody.

mike33, you will probably never own a Nightforce unless you buy one new especially if you think you can buy that scope for $1200.

By your way of thinking if Midway get's it from Nightforce and even though they don't use it, then you would also consider it used as Midway owned it second to Nightforce. If I had used it I would have written, used nightforce scope as I'm not a liar. Why bother making stupid comments about other peoples stuff??

I did not intend to offend you or knock your product, if so my apology. I have a later post i personly would for the 200 or so difference probably buy from dealer to be easier. I really know that your not going to get a scope like this for 1200 but what i was trying to say was an item at 1800 i feel would be a great buy would be in that range. Im like most people i dont buy used unless it is a super deal. Glad you sold your scope and got your price.
