Has anyone compared both of these side by side?

I like the beam specs of the Revic better but the projected waypoints on the Sig could come in very handy for downed animals, making a stalk, etc.

Opinions from those who may have used these?

I have not handled the Kilo 8K but I use the Kilo2400 which is also 7x25 and find that going from binos at 12x or 15x or a spotter which may be up to 60x and then trying to find an animal in the rangefinder with a 7x lens is rather difficult at ranges over ~900 yards. The Sig also has a very green/blue tint that makes the scene look different when going from binos/spotter to rangefinder. The Revic BR4 is 10x and does not have the tint as the Sig 2400, although I cannot confirm the the Sig8K has the tint. I haven't had a chance to mess with the BR4 in the field yet as far as shooting goes(other than ranging a few objects to 2,600 yards) but I got it just fort he 10x glass and I was having trouble getting the Kilo2400 to range past 1,500 yards.
Some info on the BR4;

From everything I've read, people are very happy with the BR4. They say it's incredibly fast, accurate, and the ballistic solver seems spot on. The only reason I might be swayed towards the Sig is the ABS and the waypoint feature.

Tagging in to follow this discussion. I use the Kilo2400ABS and agree that it seems a bit challenged when ranges get past about 1100 yds. Normally I'd be interested in the new crop of LRFs, but I'm waiting for a specific device which may or may not ever appear...

Hey, I have the Sig Kilo 2400 (original version) and I've been very impressed with the distance it ranges. You have get pretty stabilized at the longer distances. I ranged a Sitka Blacktail deer at 1150 on Kodiak a while ago. Pretty small target and it worked great. I ranged a few non critter things over 2400 (rocks mostly) I think it's a great range finder.
Take Care

I Am also tagging in I have the BR-4. I have the BR-2 as well. I can't see any other range finder being as good as the BR-4. I like the BR-4 so far ranges easily and fast I also like that it compensates for spin drift Coriolis and all the atmospheres. So far it has been spot on
