OK fellas...got my mits on a XP-100 rebarreled to the above noted cartridge. The chamber had some headspace issues...cases were splitting on the first firing. So I ended up necking the virgin cases to .277" then back to .257" a little at a time until the bolt would cam closed. This created a secondary shoulder...now the cases do not split and they form well w/ 10gr Unique, TP, COW, then TP again to close off the mouth. I even loaded/fired a single case up to three times (using 38gr Varget and 87gr Hornady SP's) and it's still good.

Now I'm looking for some loads to get started. I'll likely be shooting 87gr to 100gr bullets. Also have an AMPLE supply of Varget and RL-15. Thanks.

Not exactly to your parameters but....

250AI
Win brass...already fireformed
H4350ext. 40-42gr
110gr Accubond
Fed 210 primer

42 gr gives me 3,000fps and sub-moa accuracy

My loads are used in hunter rifle matches. WW cases formed from .243 cases,sloppy chamber used gun.Fedgm210 primer 75gr vmax 38gr BLC2 ave.vel.2905 for varmits. 100grsierra match 40gr H414 ave,2830fps es10 sd5 .5"@ 100 yd.In a 24 " shillen tube on a old 722 rem.

This is one of my favorites and probably the best case to Ackleyize.
I'm building my sons first rifle as we speek and its chambered for the 250 Ackley (22" feather weight Hart 1-10)
The data I have so far for this barrel is only for the 100gr Nosler Ballistic tips.

All loads are with the bullet seated .010" off the lands in fully fired formed and anneled cases.

R-19
44grs = 2677fps avg.
45grs = 2742fps avg
46grs = 2809fps avg

IMR-4350
43grs = 2912fps avg
43.5 grs = 2982fps avg
44grs = 3019fps avg
the 43gr load of 4350 is the most accurate load so thats to one thats getting the nod , around 3/4moa

I think that the Varget and R-15 will be a bit to fast for bullets over 80grns

This little rifle also shoot factory ammo pretty well supprisingly

Hit the range this AM with my first set of loads in 95% formed cases. Accuracy was consistently .75" @ 100yds in terrible shooting conditions...switchy 25mph winds and 20 degrees. I only have twenty formed cases (and likely all that I will do) so I loaded them all with Varget (38 up to 40.5gr) and 87gr Hornady SP's to fully sharpen the shoulders and just feel the gun out.

Ended up hitting a max of 3065fps with the 87's and best three shot group of just under .5".

I bought some 100gr SMK's and have H414 from another project. I'll likey shoot this combo next as I like the SMK's price compared to NBT's...and the SMK's only give up a little BC...which will be of little consequence with this likely being a 400yd max gun.

walter (WALT ) The cheap single caliber reloading manuals from MIDWAY USA,for the 250 savage has 250 savage improve reloading data from serria bullets. I use this reloading manual for model 700 rem classic in 250 sav imp. This is a very accurate calibrate, I like the 90 grain serria gamemaster bullet.

walter (WALT) I use 22-250 rem brass for reloading my 250 sav imp. I use a redding 250 sav die with a taped expanding ball on 22-250 rem brass. The price of 22-250 brass is half the cost of 250 sav brass.gun)
