22 Creed. Best groups I’ve ever shot 🙌🏼

I'm 99% sure my 22 creed shoots the best groups I've ever shot as well.
I'm shooting 64 TGKs at like 3450 (i think that OAL i wrote in my data log was wrong)

Hey, when a build comes together and shoots that good that fast it's a great feeling! Good job to @Barehandlineman11 and nice trigger work to you Huntnful. Rifle looks and shoots amazing, critters beware!! Happy shooting, Jason
I couldn't agree more!! This is the 4th or 5th gun he's done for me, and the ease of finding an accurate load has been astounding. Makes me want to go broke having him build me stuff before he blows up and gets crazy busy hahaha.

Thats awesome. Been pondering one. Whats the expected barrel life?
You know, I'm not sure at all. Maybe some people that have shot a few barrels out will chime in?

I think barrel life will depend on your shooting style and loads. I've used mine a couple times in 600 br competition ( tied for first and placed 2nd) and it's 10 rounds in 10 minutes but otherwise it lives a mild life. Best I've done is a .308 size hole 5 shot group at 200 meters with berger 90's and really haven't shot groups with it since. I had to shoot one out of the group to see if I was still on paper. At 22 pounds and a tuner brake, there's hardly any recoil and I've had a couple buddies grandkids shooting impressively with out to 1000

I had @Barehandlineman11 at High Voltage Armory build me a 22 creedmoor for the hell of it. It's got a bat vesper SA and a muller works #5 1-8 twist 25" barrel. .080 freebore for the 80 grain bullets.

With zero load work, I just loaded up 24 rounds of 80 ELDM's with 41gr. H4350. .020 off the lands.

4 rounds for foulers and sighters.

And then this was the first 10 shot group. .51 MOA. If you haven't shot a ten shot group before, that's exceptional IMO. The best 10 shot group I've personally ever shot actually.

Then I adjusted the zero up .1 mil, and set the zero and zero stop.

I put in the averaged velocity of 3243fps and Hornady's published BC for the 80 ELDM's into my Revic BR4.

I then went straight to 600 yards. And again, shot the best 5 shot group I've ever personally shot at that distance as well. A clean .25 MOA right on the nose. Unreal.

That's awesome and congrats on having a hammer not to mention great trigger work as well. Nothing better when it all comes together!

Excellent! Thanks for posting this. Thanks for the pictures.

Very nice rifle. I've been running the 80gr eldm in my 18" 22creed .100" freebore at 3050fps with h1000 although it will push them 3200 on the top end with h1000. I just loaded them with a .005" jam with and lower pressure charge and they shot great. Never did any load development and have been forming 500 peterson virgin cases although I've shot some Hornady and alpha brass in it to. Mine weighs 8.25lbs suppressed. I've also tested the pointed 90SMK, 69tmk, and 62gr eldvt. Mine is just a factory tikka that was reamed out to 22creed.

The rifle below is actually my .223rem, the twin to my 22creed they have the same stocks and are both tikkas only real difference is the bolt fluting. Both run 80gr eldms

All these were shot while standing off my tall bench with bi pod and rear bag. The 1040 yard group was shot using my ultralight 2oz rear bag.

It's tough beat a lightweight 22creed for a mid range hunting rifle, a lot to like.

Nice. What stock s that? Also your 22 creed was originally a .223?

2 separate rifles. One 223rem and the 22creed wears a tikka 223rem bbl that was reamed out. they are 8 twist. Both are in stockys ultra carbon VG's. They are 25oz, got them on sale for $450 each. The stocks come with carbon pillars. I had one skim bedded and the bm inlet relieved slightly to fit the mountain tactical aluminum bm. But it didn't seem to make a noticeable difference in accuracy. The factory bm fits with no mods. Got the action for $550 stock $450 bbl $300 muzzle threaded $150 bm $130

Pretty good setup for $1580. That being said the stock is no manners eh1. The stockys has a smaller palm swell and is very slick all over. I don't think it would be a good fit for big cartridges either. But on the 22creed it's great especially for the price. I doubt it would shoot any better with one of my eh1s on there just feel better.

223rem(bottom) is 16" the 22creed is 18"
I'm about the to put the March 3-24x52 on the .223 and put a March 1.5-15x42 I just picked up on the creed to try out.

Here is a reamed tikka 22creed 16" I set up for a buddy with the stockys ultra carbon hunter (21oz) he's running 80s in it now but going to get him set up running 69gr TMKs at 3300fps. Wearing a vx6 3-18
