I am planning a Wyoming mule deer hunt next year along with my Montana hunt. For a non resident do I need to buy a preference point for that region to seal the deal for region A or will I be fine without a preference point?

Might be worth considering buying a preference point. Even though 0 pts. were/are needed to draw now, that can change year by year, depending on the number of applications. Also, just a fyi, the license fee is going up next year around $100 I believe. Legislature just passed the fee increase bill.

Winter Kill can effect the number of licenses allocated for the year. A preference point never hurts especially when applying as a group.
