Wyoming elk unit - 100

I was lucky enough to draw this tag with with max points. I realize that this will be a one time draw for me. With that said I am looking for information on this unit from folks that have hunted it in previous years or have knowledge of it. We are going to scout for 3-4 days in August before our hunt in October. There is going to be two of us hunting. Thanks

Yes it is. We were very lucky to draw as NR, but we had max points so that helped.

Don't over look the area near the power plant is good due to reclaimed mining land. The elk like the new growth, and there is water there.

Good news. Just got back from a 3 day scouting trip. I was shocked at the amount of branched antlered bulls that we had seen in 3 days of scouting. Got some great information from a local rancher. Thanks for the information that was sent to me.
