Enjoy Wyoming! I miss it already. I'm trying to sneak out again for a quick weekend hunt during rifle deer. Cleveland just doesn't do it for me in the fall.

Me2! I am ready with winch mounted in back of truck! Couple board ramps and let her rip!Fortunately this pack out wasn't too terrible - I was able to get the polaris to within about 100 yards of the bull. I killed a cow across a canyon a few years back. It was fun packing her out with my brothers, but really was a lot more work than needed. Swore I wouldn't shoot an elk in that spot again. Next year, same spot, but a bull. I pulled the trigger and made a lot of work for myself haha.
I hope this is the year you're able to load your elk whole into your truck
