Wyatt Mag box, shortening bolt stop on Montana 99 action

I have a new wyatt mag box that I want to intall. It requires shortening the bolt stop by .125". I talked to Wyatt, and they said they where not familiar with the Montana action......and would not give me any more info.

Has anyone sucessfully installed the Wyatt MBE8 Winchester mag box with a Montana 99 action? Is the bolt stop location/desing any differnt between the M70 and the Montana action?

I have used their mag boxes on several 700 actions, it is a nice product. I only have one winchester style action and I am not familiar with them at all.
