I finally decided to scratch the itch in trying out the 7mm-08. Looking to trade for a barrel in a Savage small shank. Prefer something in similar barrel profile (heavy to varmint) as listed below. I have the following I can trade:
1. 308 Win, small shank, 20", heavy profile (0.75" muzzle), threaded 5/8x24, iron sights. This one came off my hog hunter. About 150 shots fired. Shot very well; easily less than moa at 100 yards.
2. 6.5 Creedmoor, small shank, 24" with stock radial muzzle brake (on/off) 26" total, heavy sporter/ magnum profile (0.75" at middle and 0.70" at muzzle), new unfired.
Let me know what you got.
