Ive come to the conclusion that I want to downsize and sell 1 of my Savages, and maybe spend that money on some optics. I just built this gun and everything is brand new except the action, which had only a couple hundred rounds thru it when I got it. This build has a total of 80 rounds shot thru it, all of which were just to break-in the barrel and form some brass. I have ALOT tied up in this gun and will be taking a loss, but will do so to get the right set of optics.
Heres the build:
-Savage model 12 stainless single shot action w/ accutrigger
-BRUX 26" SS bead blasted 8twist 243AI barrel
- work and engraving done by Kevin @ Montour County Rifles
- throated a little short for use with varmint bullets, which will also allow longer
use of the barrel by throating it deeper down the road.
- .750" at the muzzle
-SSS recoil lug
-SS barrel nut and trigger guard
-B&C Medalist in tan/black web
-Ken Farrel 0moa 1pc steel base
-$1000 shipped to ffl in US(by me)

-with Redding 2pc FL die set and 110pcs brass(60-1x fireformed, 50-unfired 243 brass)
add $80

- with Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope(dot reticle) and 30mm medium Burrie Sig Zee rings
add $425(not for sale seperately from gun...yet)

OR $1500 for complete package (I have about 1700 invested in this gun)

will trade towards a NF scope(12-42)or a Sightron SIII 8-32 or 10-50

Again, all of these parts were brand new(except for the action).
