    This is single shot? Why the bolt?

    Can't find it on the savage website, is it custom?

    It is a factory gun, they stopped making them a few years ago. What is your question about the bolt?

    Is it single shot? Never seen a bolt action single shot other than .50 BMGs

    yes it is a single shot, Savage makes an entire line of single shot rifles
