Looking to sell my recently acquired .243 Ackley Improved. The barreled action was built by George at Precision Shooting Sports (Home Precision Shooting Sports), the builder of the 2009 Sniper Hide rifles.
The rifles has the following specs
Remington 700 SS SA action, trued and lapped (very smooth, no J-lock)
Kreiger 1:8 twist SS Rem Varmint Contour at 26", throated for DTACs
McMillan A5 (brand new, unbedded), sniper fill
Tuned old-style Remington factory trigger
Matte Black BDL bottom metal
According to my bathroom scale, the rifle is about 11 lbs as it sits
Also included is:
50 (more really, just haven't counted them) fireformed Winchester brass
Redding full length die set
250 Berger 105 VLDs (200 are the old box, the remainder are hunting VLDs)
The rifle has 321 rounds through it, all 107 SMKs. Accuracy was noted as being in the .3s to .4s
$1650 shipped for everything. Not looking for any trades right now.
