This is a preban M1A rifle in 308, the serial number is 011206 which puts it around 1979. It has NM sights and is fully glass bedded, includes accessories in the stock, the barrel has no markings and is mirror bright. I do not know the history of this rifle, I do not believe it was a factory built NM, I can only say it is a preban with the options noted above. The stripped clip guide has been replaced with one for a double screw scope mount, which will be included with the rifle. There are no markings on the scope mount and would not put any value on it.The operating rod, hammer and bolt are SA. The stock is also NM profile, The white on the receiver is Lithium grease. $1250 plus shipping.
