Year of manufacture? How does it shoot?

This is a pre-safety model, I don't know how to tell what year. I was told 70's or early 80's.
I have only fired it a few shots. I got a half box of 300gr loads with it and I made a nice 1 1/2 inch group at 50 yards using the peep sight off a sand bag rest.
