Selling my .308 Winchester Howa 1500 Varmint Supreme Thumbhole Laminate. Howa is the same company as Weatherby, who manufacture some of the finest rifles ever made. This rifle has a 24" heavy barrel, 1:12" twist, a matte stainless steel finish and a pepper colored thumbhole stock. It has been shot less than 250 rounds, all of which were at sub-maximal loadings. The rifle has functioned flawlessly for me and it is very nicely made (sold my Remington to buy this - much nicer). I have the original box and original manual. The rifle is in immaculate shape. I am an extremely meticulous person and this rifle has no handling marks or dings.
Rifle has a Dednutz one-piece base/rings and a Mueller Eraticator 8.5-25x50mm scope on it.
I am selling this because I am more interested in small varmint calibers and not the .308 Winchester as much as I once was. I have a nice reloading setup for the .308 Winchester that I am looking to sell with the rifle.
Looking to get $1,550 for the entire setup.
