I had a Taurus 44 at one time. Will never own or let someone I know own one. After a while my barrel started threading off the frame. This is just my 2 cents but get yourself a Ruger. Have had and have many and they are bullet proof. I would rather have the extra weight. That way when you run out of ammo you have a heavier club
