What's your barrel contour? What brand of medium rings? Heights vary between manufactures.

I use a medium nightforce unimount with my 56mm nxs on a sendero contour. Works perfect, just a little gap.

I tried a high Nightforce Unimount with the 50mm and there was 1/2" plus gap. Just throwing that out there for reference for someone

Yep no prob, then a set of low nf rings should be perfect with the 20moa rail.
