Looking for an action in the 30-06 family, LH preferred but RH okay, to be fitted to a heavy barrel (≥26" length) and placed into a varmint/tactical stock for a long range .270 Win build. Alternative is to pick up a complete rifle in the same family if someone has something collecting dust that they are willing to sell for a reasonable price. I have seen actions online for over $400; frankly, that's out of my budget for building a complete rifle with.
