The most popular production rifles that fit this criteria are the Tikka T3 Superlight, the Browning A-bolt stainless stalker and the Remington 700 SPS. I just prefer the gun be able to stand up to a little more abuse. I'm not trying to keep this firearm flawless like I do try with my 20 year old medallion. I also would like it to be on the light side to carry all day.
As far as I know the A-bolt is out of production for left handed synthetic stock options. I'd have to get lucky and find a used one, preferably with a BOSS. The 700 SPS is the heaviest of the three. Tikka seems to be winning the race, but it is probably so light that I'd need to thread the muzzle and install a brake should I come up with a Tikka.
I'm not looking for a crazy expensive custom gun. Just seeing what's out there and hoping maybe some of you have some different options for me to look at.
I am stuck on 7mm Rem because I already reload for it.
