Windy in Colorado - bad for rifle, not too bad for a day of shotgunning and upland birds.

Just a great day with my sons behind an exceptional dog. We spent the entire day yesterday walking the stubble. The boys had a great time and got some decent birds. Yes, this was a "canned" hunt/planted birds on a private ranch, but still gets us together in the outdoors and keeps their shotgun skills up.

Congrats on the harvest!
Our state did a bang up job this year in increasing the walk-in access acreage significantly. My wife took her late pronghorn in such stubble between Eads and Kit Carson.

Great to hear that your wife hunts, and that she got a pronghorn! Sounds like a keeper.
