Back in June I had made a post about a Model 70 Winchester that I replaced the trigger. I installed a Timney, but the safety would not engage. Just a follow up on that. I took the rifle to a local gunsmith, he fixed the problem. As soon as I said I put a Timney on a model 70 he said and now the safety doesn't work. When returning to the range, the first five shots out of the bore were covered with a quarter. That is not bench rest accuracy, but sure beats the six inch ( and couple 9") groups it started to shoot before trigger replacement. I would like to thank members here for suggestions and comments during a time I was very frustrated. One more weekend to tune the load and then pronghorn season. Thanks again to all members that had suggestions.
