Ya, there's a few guys here that do.
I'm having a 300WSM built right now on a Long Action Model-70.
Having it throated to seat 180 Accubonds at 3.000 C.O.A.L. which leaves me room to load 200gr Accubonds real long too without compressed loads.

I have a 7mm WSM long action. It works great.

Doesn't the short action magazine measure much longer in a Winchester than the Remington? I don't have mine here right now (as it's being pillar bedded), to measure but I thought it was 3.0" or very close to it.
