Winchester primer problem

I recently had this issue with my Winchester Large Rifle Primers in a 6.5-284. Out of 20 bullets shot, 10 had pierced the rounded edge of the primer, pitted my bolt face and deformed my ejector pin. I'm sending them in to Winchester for a look at the primers. KNL192G is the lot I'm having issues with.

Loaded 40 test rounds for 7mm Remington Mag. 9 out of the rounds did not fire, primer dented but no powder ignition. Unloaded the rounds and looked at them under magnifier the anvil was still there but 5 of the 9 you could put a toothpick down one side of the anvil past where the charge would go. They also looked 'dirty' which could be the powder charge that was sitting on top of them.
Has anyone had this problems with Winchester (or any) primers WLRM LHL495G?

Yep. Have been having a problem with them in the last brick I've been loading from. Approx 15% failure. Irritating to say the least.

Yep, opened a new brick and loaded up 50 new cases of 300WM, fired 3 rounds, all 3 had pinholed, contacted Winchester and they replaced my bolt and took the primers back. Have a new brick, loaded some test rounds which I will use the OLD PITTED BOLT to test fire the rounds, it has no ejector fitted, so a cleaning rod will do the job
Hoping I have no issues with the new primers cuz they gave the tightest groups.

Did they pay to have you send it somewhere and get the headspace checked with the new bolt or are you checking it yourself?

No, the whole job was done by THEIR repairer.
It cost a total of $860, new bolt from a magnum Sendero action, fitment of the extractor and head spacing.
It cost me ZERO, no shipping no nothing.
It did take 11 months to be done in total, that includes replacement of the primer brick.

Common issue i see in the pictures posted so far is moderate to severe ejector swipe. How hot are yall loading?

Not that hot on my 6.5-284 with the ends shown in the blue mtm box. 51 grains of H4831SC and a 140 vld. The swipe marks on my brass was after a primer blew and deformed my ejector pin, thus causing the swipe on the non-blown cartridges without noticing it damaged the ejector pin.

Not with a pinhole in the skirt of the primer. Hot loads will pierce the primer at the firing pin indent.

I ruined the bolt of my 6.5 Remington Magnum 40X with WLR primers. I did my load development with the chrome plated primers and started a new box (unplated) and started blowing primers left and right. I changed from 140 grain to 100 grain 6.5 bullets to try and alleviate the problem. It did not work and no way was I over pressure. I wound up pulling and reprimeing like 325 rounds. Unfortunately, I did not keep the primer containers (or Lot Number) so I did not bother with contacting Wincheter. Learned a hard lesson about keeping there containers.

I have used Winchester primers for years, never had a problem.

It is only happening with recent lots.
I pulled 350 rounds apart to remove the primers that came in the same brick from various cartridges I loaded them into.
25-06, 270Bee, 264WM, 300WM, 338WM, 338-416RigbyImproved & 375Bee.
I wasn't impressed to say the least.
