Is the Winchester 70 in 300RUM a "long action" or "magnum action"? The reason I ask is; I'm thinking of putting a long range scope base on it, but all the bases I've seen are listed for the Short and Long Action. (Nothing else.) Does someone make a base for this action? A two-piece base would be fine as well.

It's a express action for H&H rounds and ultra mags, the rear screw holes are closer together.I have seen good 2 piece weaver style bases like warne, Burris XTB but not a long range 1 piece base. A good machinist could fix you up though. There may be a company making them that I'm not aware of.
