I purchased this for a rifle build but decided to go with a Rem action instead. All parts are in great shape and it appears it was not fired very much. Jewelling on the bolt is still in very good condition with few wear marks. Bolt and action have matching SN#'s. The action and barrel have a matte black finish that is also in very good condition. Only visible wear on the finish is where the bolt runs in the raceway and where the scope mounting bases bolt to the receiver. Barrel has been cut for an 11 degree target crown and rifling is good and sharp. Barrel is factory sporter, 26" long with a 1-10 twist. This would make a great action for a project build or use as is with the existing barrel. Some of the parts that were removed from this rifle are for sale on eBay.
