I sighted in 50gr tipped winchester in 223 at 100 yards. Group size of 3/4 moa. Put a target as far as I could shoot which was 330 yards. I ended up having to go left one full moa to get back centered on windage. There was no wind today. Went back to 100 and had to go right 1 moa to get back centered. That's a lot of spin drift. I'm shooting a Vortex scope with turrets, 22" barrel 1:8 twist. I wonder if the bullet is just going so fast and light with that twist that I get spin drift that noticeable.

Yes wildrose. Vortex PST 2.5x10 - 44. Scope lined up with bubble level and a Wheeler engineering bubble level on picatiny rail. After 100 yard zero I had to give 4 clicks left to center up at 330. Back to 100 I had to go back right 4 clicks. No wind blowing.

Did you have a good cheek weld ? Maybe you were canting your scope a little . Maybe there was a little wind at your target when you were shooting . I have had no wind at my bench . But when shooting across the field at my range have had wind at the target quite a few times

I know I am going to get some negative feedback on this, but I would tend to blame the Vortex scope. I have a PST Viper ffp 6x24. I absolutely hate that scope & have been trying to sell it for best offer & can not even get an offer.
Just my opinion, Thanks, Kirk
