I'm needing a tripod for a Pentax 20-60x80 spotter. I don't need it to be super light or anything like that. This will be used almost exclusively for spotting bullet holes in paper or scanning open territory. I do not, however, want to buy junk that I'm just going to have to/want to replace in a short period of time. I've been looking at a Slik 780. Slik 615780 Pro 780 DX Tripod Legs, SH-807E Heavy Duty (049368702577) | eBay Will this work for what I'm wanting? Any other suggestions? Anyone have anything similar they want to sell?
