Wife’s montana cow

    The wife got her cow this evening. One shot 250 yards 6.5-06 140 grain berger. She hit the cow slightly quartering away. Bullet broke rib on entree and went through lungs and came to rest against the hide on opposite side just behind the shoulder crease.

    Congrats. Looks like a nice sized elk and will make a lot of great meals. Also great shot. Bet you guys had a great time.
