there is a lot of pure bs in this thread. some has been clearly identified.
1) the fbi did not make/nor create the 40s&w. after the 9mm fiasco in fla they went to the 10mm..not a 40.
2) 9mm hand guns were not reworked into 40 s&w. while they can start from a same basic design, the slide is significantly diff. kit guns were sold with both an 9mm and 40 slide assembly.
3) anyone who thinks a hollow point bullet from 30 years ago is as good as current self defense ammo has he head in the sand.
