Are you saying I should use @ButterBean method of the two?

Any other tips on set up or do you have a proccess?

The instructions that come with the lee fcd. I do it as what works best for me as any normal person should? I'm not much of a conformist.

I crimp all my semiautomatic handgun ammo. I have only 5 BA rifles and 2 soon too build. The other 50 are AR origins. So crimping is a must. I'm thinking about doing a crimp evaluation on the BAs.

I have a new one that is just starting. All us old guys have floaters. Lately, instead of floaters I'm seeing sparks. Shoot across my eyes like a shooting star. Wonder what that is?

I have the same thing.
After seeing my optometrist with a diagnosis of only cataracts, she told me I am probably experiencing a migraine without the pain.

Interesting .......going from "Why I crimp" to " When I drink coffee"........
So , ok, I only drink coffee twice a week, Wednesdays and Sundays.

I only drink coffee when I'm alone or with somebody.

OK, BB, I'll drink the Kool-aid. Got these today. Over my competition days, shooting 10K+ rounds a year I never crimped a round for the 14s and did not either on the AR types.

Reading all the testimonials, I said, what the heck, join the bandwagon. Got nothing to lose, just a few $$ experiment. They came in today.

Sounds like a retinal tear with flashes of light and increased floaters. Suggest you see eye doc asap. Can be fixed with laser. Had same symptoms and doc "welded" it up with laser.

The alternative to getting older doesn't sound very good either

just_jon were you able to get back your previous load with the new brass?
I spent a lot of time building my best load for that 300 win mag and I have hopes I can work up to that same load.

Old Rooster - i don't recall specifics, but the old load shot well (sub-moa). My final load I ended up 1/2 grain higher

Thank you sir that sounds reasonable since the base to shoulder is a tad longer.
I just received a new turret for my Leupold VX lll 6.5-20X50 LR scope and I need to be at the same velocity as what I gave Leupold to build that turret.So I need to be at 2965 fps or build another turret.
