I’ve never had to talk to somebody. Decided which suppressor to buy, and when SS had it in stock I bought it, along with the tax stamp and their single shot trust. Filled out the paperwork they sent me and signed via Docusign, and then waited….

Used silencer shop for the Gemtec 1 can and silencer central for the Banish 30, both would serve your needs.
Silenser central and the Banish 30 would be my first recommendation as they are a little easier to work with and the Banish 30 is a little better/lighter.

SingleShot trust using a SilencerShop kiosk at your dealer of choice.

Pick out your suppressor.
Pay for suppressor and stamp.
Complete prints and form on the kiosk.
Dealer enters pertinent info on your item.
Done.
Takes about 15 minutes.

Everything else is done electronically through SilencerShop via DocuSign and email. Then, wait till your stamp comes in, go back and pick up your can. Easy as that. It’s a really easy process if you use an electronic kiosk.

Not sure if it was addressed above but I believe part of your question was also what would cover your specific cartridges. All you need is one 30 cal. It will work fine for anything smaller as well though if you add in a rimfire it should have it's own because of physical size and typical thread size.

I started out with Silencer Shop and got my first suppressor as an individual. I then switched to a trust through my local Silencer Shop affiliated SOT. I should have gone that route to start with. The Silencer Shop kiosks really make the process easy. I actually have bought most of my suppressors through Capitol Armory as their inventory and pricing have often been better than Silencer Shop. Regardless of the purchase point, the suppressors are just Form 3 to my local SOT and then the process proceeds through the Silencer Shop submittal process for the Form 4. Personally, unless you are absolutely convinced you will ever only want one suppressor, I wouldn't suggest the single shot route. I started out thinking I'd only get one but changed my mind with-in 2-3 years.

I live in a county with a second amendment friendly Sheriff so I didn't have to go to the trust route but I did wait nine months. Does utilizing a trust cut down on the wait times? The fact that I have a very common first and last name didn't help things and never does.
