I picked up a semi custom 300wsm, based on a rem short action and I was wanting to give the Bergers a try. I am currently running an alpha mag, that according to the website can accommodate cartridges up to 2.970 in length. The barrel id 1/10 twist with .100 free bore. Can anyone provide some insight on which bullet I should be able to run? It is a hunting rifle and I want to be able to utilize the detachable mag vs. a single shot. Any pet loads would help. Thanks in advance, I'm fairly new to the magnum game.
