I've got an 8lb container of IMR 7828 SSC. Does anyone know where they hide the lot number on these containers of powder? I don't see any obvious Lot ID numbers. There's an orange paper sticker on the side with the nine digit number 802140808. Would that be it? No print in front of that number though. Thanks if you can help.

Per recent experience that orange sticker would be it.
I don't know the internal operations of Hodgon but IMRs funnel to us from them, I guess, and they have a habit of using those orange stickers.
My experience was with 8#ers of US 869.
I looked at a local out let and the 8# bottles of various powders had the orange sticker. Then again, some times they don't

Most container have 11 to 12 numbers, most lot# have 4 to 5 numbers in them, I hope this help you out.
8 = 8lb container
02 = February
14 = 14th day
08 = year
08 = actual lot number
