Call one of the Cabela's Gun library's. Have them check their inventory's of used Rem 700's. They can check all the stores and see what they have. You can pick up a good used truck gun that looks a bit rough but no rust pretty cheap sometimes and even if the barrel is shot out who cares. If all your needing is the action what difference does the looks make right. Send it off to Craftgaurd and have the barreled action plated or Teflon coated when its put together and it covers up the ugly. If its stainless steal just bead blast and shoot it.
