Where can I find H1000 or RL 26?

Can't seem to find it in stock anywhere of course. Hoping someone knows where I can find some and help a guy out. Having a 7 SAUM built and want to get a pound or two of each to see what this rifle will like.

Then I can try to get more. Don't want to be buying 8 pounders if I can't work up a load that I like. A could pounds should be plenty to get me through load developement, a little practice, and hunting season.

I got ya, but those 2 powders have been very hard to get for the last decade. Buy as many 1 pounders as you can find, if you don't like them you can definitely sell them locally for what you are into them.

Well, I can buy an 8 and sell what I don't use as well I guess. Probably a bit safer to have an not need than need and not have.

I found some H1000 a while back, and purchased 32#s. You might want to try H4831sc, that's what my 7 SAUM likes the best.

I was just able to find some H1000. I do plan on trying H4831sc too and that is much easier to find. What kind of velocity are you getting with it?

CAC Associates....Weird name, but very easy to deal with. In like 5 min on the phone it was coming my way....no H4895 though
~$200 for 8 lbs shipped. $172, I think for the powder....prices are on their site

I tried 180 vld and hybrids, 162 amax, and 175 ablr and all shot best with H4831sc. I tried H1000, retumbo, RL17, and RL19. I easily pushed the 180 hybrid to 3050 fps in a 26" brux barrel.

I will have a 26" Brux as well so that's very promising!
