Where and how to hunt aoudad in unit 9 New Mexico

My brother and I will be hunting in New Mexico (unit 9) for aoudad in february. I would like any info that might help me punch a tag. We are going DIY, not guided and plan on backpack hunting. So, any information on where to look for them would be much appreciated. Thanks
