Looking at my last office safe pic...

375. 18.5
270wsm. 18
7 rum. 21
22 wmr. 16.5
17 hmr. 16.5
17 wsm. 20

17 hornet getting cut at 20
204 getting cur to 20 for thick enough for a can.

My High desert guns... probably average 27+...

In the last few years I have decided I prefer 20" for everything involving hunting where I have to carry the rifle more than say, a hundred yards, supressed or not. And I in no way feel at a disadvantage. Took my elk last year at 1036 yards with a 20" barreled rifle, the elk didn't seem to care about the loss of velocity from a 26" 🤪 now when I pick up a 26" rifle with a can, I feel like I'm carrying around a flagpole ha ha. I still have a 29" barreled .260 AI, but I'm strongly considering chopping it down. Only reason I haven't yet is because it's pretty much a dedicated pronghorn gun......doesn't get very far from the truck ha ha

I'm pretty much shooting 100% suppressed, 16-18" on my timber to 800 yard mountain elk rifles.
24" on my open country 1100 yard thumper that also wears a can.
I wish we could run suppressors here. 16" plus a can sounds like the perfect set up.

I too just spun up a 24'' 300 PRC. We've ran 20 & 22'' PRC's, while they are a handy rifles suppressed, the loss in muzzle velocity left us wanting more......it was also just a good reason to build another gun :)
AlwAys important to have A reason up your sleeve. I could have taken a moose with my .300 Winnie or 270 no probleM. But I needed the .358 norma I won off an auction and my wife understands that hahahahha!!!!
