Now throw BC into the equation...BC will outrun velocity every time

I think you must be confused. You could have the best BC in the world, but at a velocity of ZERO, it's not going anywhere...

And here we go again, BC is not a static number and can be changed by many variables, Folks that buy bullets for the high BC numbers will never take full advantage of Hammer bullets, This is not my opinion, It has been proven in the field

Not quite, my friend.

As you know, I am a stickler for the maths.

Bullet weight is proportional, yes,

but velocity is 'squared' so it is not a direct relationship.

A little increase in mass = a little increase in energy

A little increase in velocity = a much bigger increase in energy.

Try it yourself- keeping velocity constant, if you double the bullet weight, you get double the energy. Directly proportional, like you said!

Try the inverse, if you keep mass constant, and double velocity, you get a BIG increase in energy. The change in energy is much greater than the change in velocity - this is not a direct relationship.
Very well said,

i believe all Fenix was trying to say was that the 2 factors directly influencing energy is velocity and bullet weight. Not proportionally but directly related to.

And that was brought up because someone asked if velocity mattered in regards the Hammers killing better when l compared to a heavier, slower jacketed bullet.

I'm going to quote my friend @HARPERC who said it best

"So many sacrifice terminal performance seeking a bullet effective for ranges twice that at which they intend to shoot."
