What Twist For 6.5 Barrel?

If you do yank it, I have a Rem 721 in 6.5x55 that is shot out. Not sure what yours is coming off, maybe we can do a deal.

Well its a savage small shank so wouldn't be a good fit probably, I'm OCD about gun prep, reloading, and accuracy. The action on this gun came off a target rifle that shot bugholes. I'm trying to test everything before I throw in the towel, the barrel I have is a sure thing so its a 30-40 min. job to swap out and headspace. I just like the 260 and 6.5 cartridges in general so I hate to stop till I'ved tried it all. Great think tank on here and lot of perspective's and experience's to be tried and listened to. I was sure it was the twist but I'm willing to keep at it a ways further if its something else. Dave
